David Duncan, an associate in the firm, concentrates his practice in land use planning and zoning, business transactions, and tax planning. Mr. Duncan has represented clients in various types of business matters, including matters of residential and commercial real estate, commercial lending, land use planning and zoning, residential and commercial property tax appeals, real estate funding, 1031 like-kind exchanges, and more. Mr. Duncan also has a background in tax law, as he served as a research assistant to Professor Lawrence A. Jegen, III, Tax Law Professor, and an extern with the Indiana Tax Court. Mr. Duncan serves as a member of the executive committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association Land Use Planning Section, a graduate of the United Way Leadership Training and Development for Diversity Series, a graduate of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Bar Leader Series – Class IV, a member of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis and was recently honored in the Indiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, Real Estate, 2009 & 2010.
